Too perfectly: Kull cannot tell them apart. By the time he turns back, the changeling has already perfectly mimicked the human child. After laying the changeling in a human infant’s crib, the goblin Kull is briefly distracted from his task. But when the fateful night arrives to trade a human baby for a goblin one, something goes terribly wrong. To renew it, goblins must perform an ancient ritual involving the rarest of their kind-a newborn changeling. I highly recommend it so go check it out! Fable was also so cute I can’t wait to read more about her in the next book. I don’t know what it is about his writing style but it’s just so enjoyable and easy to read. I thought Ritter did a really great job with the world-building overall. This really helped me just immerse myself in the story instead of figuring out the details of the backstory. I thought the backstory was explained perfectly in the beginning of the book. I thought this book was just really well written with great characters and an action-packed plot. Ritter somehow manages to write the POVs of multiple characters and make it flow so the reader doesn’t get confused with the frequent POV changes. I really enjoyed reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I’m so excited to share this free e-book I received from Algonquin Young Readers with you.
